IBL online mode
These guides show you how to align IBL probe insertions directly from the Alyx database, with
alignment-gui-ibl. In this mode the GUI downloads the data for an insertion, and uploads the
alignment and its quality assessment back to Alyx, instead of reading and writing files on your
own disk. How this differs from working with local files is explained in
Offline and online modes, and the command’s options are listed in
Command line.
This mode is for IBL members with an Alyx account, and needs the ibl extra (see
How to install the optional extras).
